How to save oral swabs? There are two ways, one is air drying preservation, the other is using preservation solution. Let's first see how the air drying preservation is done, and then look at the specific process below.
Air drying preservation method:
① First prepare a clean white paper;
② Take the first cotton swab (do not touch the head of the swab), put it into the mouth, and scrape back and forth 20 times close to the inner side of the left cheek (rotate the cotton stick from time to time), and fully touch the oral mucosa. Take out the cotton swab and put it on the white paper to dry naturally for 2-3 hours;
③ Take the second cotton swab and scrape it back and forth on the inner side of the right mouth for 20 times, put it on the same piece of white paper and dry it naturally for 2-3 hours; ④ scrape and wipe the third cotton swab on the left and right sides for 15 times, and put it on the same white paper, as above for natural drying. Six roots were collected repeatedly;
⑤ Make the symbol, wrap it in white paper and put it in the envelope;
⑥ Repeat the above process, extract another person's oral epithelial cells, wrap them with white paper, and put them into another envelope. Attention: please don't mix the cotton swabs of the two people. Please send them by EMS. In addition, do not use plastic bags, only use paper materials.
Generally, natural air dried oral swabs can only be kept for 3 days.
